Newt Gingrich called his rival, Mitt Romney, a liar, just hours before voters in Iowa voted for the presidential nominee. During an interview with CBS, Newt Gingrich was asked specifically if he thought that Mitt Romney was a liar. There were many negative ads that were broadcasted about Newt Gingrich, which most of them were funded by Mitt Romney.
"Yes," Gingrich told Norah O'Donnell of CBS. When the question was repeated, Gingrich replied: "Well, you seem shocked by it. Yes."Later on, Newt Gingrich had an interview with Fox News and he said that Mitt Romney "fails to tell the truth". He feels as though as if Romney should be more honest with the people and by making Newt Gingrich look bad with all this negativity, "its a terrible way to run for office".
